What you’ll own as the Implementation Team Manager
You will be joining a highly motivated and driven team of people who work in the eCommerce Payment Gateway sector. Our aim is to ‘WOW’ our customers by providing dedicated Implementation support. To achieve this requires agility and creativity in an ever evolving and diverse payments landscape.
- Works with other members of Implementation management team to establish division business strategies that align with corporate goals and objectives; effectively communicates strategies translating them into actionable items.
- Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
- Performs resource planning and allocation; supports direct reports in meeting conversion timelines and requirements including escalation of issues and pushing for a solution. Ensure projects are delivered right first time.
- Manages a team of multi-functional and technical professionals:
- Performance management: establishes clear performance goals that align with team, division, and corporate goals; communicates strengths/development needs; mentors and coaches team members; provides challenging assignments and opportunities for development; recognizes, rewards, and communicates individual accomplishments and contributions.
- Staffing: approves hiring recommendations; holds direct reports accountable for staff continuity; maintains varying and complimentary levels of skills, knowledge, and abilities across multiple teams.
- Achieve Time to Revenue (TTR) and Time to Transact (TTT) targets.
- Step in to support, backup or take on customer projects where necessary.
- Implement and improve processes as well as organises training for the team.
- This role is required to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones to deliver business outcomes. As such, the role may be required to work or remain contactable outside regular hours due to different time zones at times.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary education with at least 8 to 10 years working experience with preferably at least 5+ years in a team management role.
- Confidence and experience in managing relationships between internal and external stakeholders. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Speak up in meetings and contribute positively.
- Creative and forward thinking with a good aptitude for problem solving.
- Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence.
- Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues.
- Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations.
- Be curious. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
- Skill in productivity, planning and workload management.
- Ability to design, document and implement process improvements.
- Proven background in managing projects and delivering customer technical integrations.
- Possess a strong technical background with proficiency in related internet technologies.
- Experience in multiple operating systems: Windows, OSX, Linux, iOS, Android is a plus.
