Giving back to our local communities

On June 11, over 2,000 Globalpayers joined forces for our Worldwide Day of Service. Held twice a year, it’s a day to bring us together to support the communities where we live and work.

From packing food for families and supporting children’s hospitals, to cleaning up local neighborhoods and restoring green spaces, Globalpayers collectively volunteered more than 6,000 hours in just one day. It’s a powerful reminder that when we unite around a shared purpose, our impact goes global.

Making a difference around the world

Across 70+ locations, our teams supported over 100 non-profit and community organizations:

  • In Bucharest, Romania, team members partnered with Food Bank Bucharest and OPEN MINDS NGO to prepare weekend packages for approximately 600 people. They supported the meal service at a community canteen, organized food in the warehouse, and also raised 5,000 RON through colleague donations.

  • Our Pune, India, volunteers teamed up with PRACHETAS Foundation to clean up the local area, plant 60+ trees, distribute meals to neighbors facing food insecurity and fund daily nutritious food for 100 people for the next three months.

  • In Warsaw, Poland, Globalpayers raised funds for The Children’s Memorial Health Institute, helping donate 118 toys to children receiving care.

  • In Tokyo, Japan, team members participated in a Shibuya community cleanup, collecting litter and helping improve the local environment.

The power of connection

Worldwide Day of Service also gave Globalpayers an opportunity to collaborate, meet colleagues from different parts of the business and feel more connected to one another through hands-on community work. With colleagues commenting that they “can’t wait for the next opportunity to do good together.”
